We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a manufacturing environment in Lawrence, Kansas. This Contract position will manage a large volume of openings, guiding candidates through the recruiting process from initial outreach to successful start dates. The role also contributes to onboarding coordination and workforce roster tracking while partnering closely with hiring teams to maintain steady staffing levels.

Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for manufacturing and related operational roles, from intake discussions through offer coordination and start-date follow-up.
• Build candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies, job postings, database searches, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
• Handle a high number of active requisitions at once while keeping priorities organized and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
• Screen applicants, conduct initial evaluations, and present candidates with relevant experience to hiring managers in a timely manner.
• Partner with business leaders to understand staffing needs, align on role requirements, and move searches forward efficiently.
• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities to help new hires transition smoothly into the organization.
• Maintain accurate candidate, hiring, and labor roster records within the applicant tracking and HR systems.
• Monitor recruitment activity and provide updates on progress, hiring challenges, and pipeline status to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes across sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer stages.
• Background supporting high-volume hiring, including the ability to oversee numerous open requisitions at the same time.
• Familiarity with recruiting for manufacturing, production, or other facility-based roles.
• Proficiency using applicant tracking systems and HR platforms to document and manage recruitment workflows.
• Knowledge of sourcing methods that attract candidates with relevant experience in competitive labor markets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
• Experience supporting onboarding activities and maintaining accurate workforce or labor roster information.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors HCM or similar human capital management systems is preferred.

Compensation

$31.00-$33.00 Hourly
