HR Specialist
We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to support day-to-day human resources operations in Westborough, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position will focus on maintaining accurate HR records, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting with employee relations matters in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings strong HR administration experience, confidence working in HRIS platforms, and a careful approach to handling sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
• Manage core human resources administrative processes, ensuring employee records, documentation, and data remain current and accurate.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing paperwork, tracking pre-employment requirements, and supporting a smooth start experience.
• Maintain and update information within HRIS systems to support reporting accuracy and efficient workflow management.
• Respond to employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and general employment matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Assist with employee relations issues by gathering information, documenting concerns, and supporting follow-up actions as needed.
• Help ensure HR practices and recordkeeping align with HIPAA-regulated standards and internal confidentiality requirements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support routine HR processes, communications, and administrative priorities across the employee lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Experience in human resources administration with a solid understanding of day-to-day HR operations.• Hands-on proficiency with HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee data.
• Background supporting onboarding processes and coordinating new employee documentation.
• Familiarity with employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive situations appropriately.
• Knowledge of working within HIPAA-regulated or similarly confidential environments.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused, service-oriented approach.
Compensation
