Staff Accountant
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Greer, South Carolina in a contract-to-permanent position. This role is well suited for an accounting specialist who can manage core reporting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support compliance requirements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to daily accounting operations while providing reliable financial insight that helps guide business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Prepare financial reports and analyze variances
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–4+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Compensation
