Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly and annual close activities to ensure financial results are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Supervise and support an experienced AP/AR team, setting priorities, reviewing work, and promoting consistent performance.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports that provide clear insight into operating results and key trends.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, partnering with stakeholders to develop reliable financial plans.
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate audit support and ensure documentation is organized for financial statement review requirements.
• Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements that strengthen controls and reporting efficiency.
• Utilize Ivue and related accounting tools to manage co-op specific financial activities and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 or more years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience managing accounting staff and overseeing day-to-day team operations.
• Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
• Experience preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and posting journal entries.
• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting in a business environment.
• Experience with Ivue is preferred.
• Co-op industry experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation
$120,000.00-$155,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
