Are you an experienced attorney seeking the opportunity to move beyond traditional legal support and become a trusted advisor to business leadership? Our client, a leading global financial services organization, is building its legal team and seeking multiple Corporate Counsel attorneys to support a highly regulated and rapidly evolving business. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a highly successful, international financial services organization and partner closely with leaders across finance, treasury, operations, credit, compliance, and executive management.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Advise on commercial finance, secured lending, financial services, and complex commercial transactions.
✅ Support strategic initiatives, including new business models, partnerships, treasury matters, restructurings, and cross-functional projects.
✅ Counsel business leaders on privacy, regulatory compliance, procurement, contracting, and operational legal matters.
✅ Collaborate with executives, business teams, and outside counsel to deliver practical, risk-balanced legal solutions.
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
✔️ JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
✔️ 6+ years of legal experience gained in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both.
✔️ Strong business partnership skills and an approachable, collaborative style
✔️ Ability to thrive in a changing environment and contribute to organizational transformation
✔️ Experience supporting a captive finance company is highly valued
✔️ Candidates who are excited about change management, building relationships, and helping create a new culture will be especially successful
✔️ Experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Commercial Finance
- Secured Lending
- Financial Services
- Corporate & Securities
- Commercial Contracts
- Procurement
- Privacy/Data Protection
- Regulatory Compliance
- General In-House Counseling
