Full Charge Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end financial close activities across multiple client accounts, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and ready for reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including payment tracking, collections follow-up, and transaction posting.
• Prepare and issue client invoices while maintaining accuracy in billing records and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Administer full-cycle payroll for multiple clients, including recurring bi-weekly payroll processing and related record maintenance.
• Ensure payroll tax calculations, filings, and supporting documentation are handled in compliance with applicable requirements.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and maintain up-to-date general bookkeeping records for each assigned client.
• Support daily office operations by assisting with administrative tasks and helping maintain an organized workflow.
• Coordinate priorities across multiple sets of books while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.• Ability to provide college transcripts as part of the hiring process.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper or comparable accounting position.
• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and bank reconciliations.
• Proven ability to process full-cycle payroll independently, including bi-weekly payroll administration.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax rules and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or managing multiple sets of books is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage is strongly preferred.
Compensation
