Office Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory documentation by recording incoming items, updating stock information, and maintaining accurate office records.
• Support the receipt of merchandise by checking deliveries against documentation and helping ensure products are routed to the correct storage areas.
• Open, sort, and organize products for shelving while helping maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
• Review item details for accuracy and promptly communicate quantity or product issues to supervisors when discrepancies are found.
• Assist with recurring inventory checks, including cycle counts and full physical counts, to help preserve reliable stock records.
• Perform data entry tasks related to inventory movement, product tracking, and general clerical reporting.
• Coordinate with team members across the operation to address inventory questions and keep daily activities moving efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in office support, inventory control, stock administration, or a similar clerical environment.• Working knowledge of basic computer applications and confidence performing accurate data entry.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with coworkers and reporting issues effectively.
• Solid arithmetic ability to support counts, reconciliations, and routine inventory-related calculations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks consistently.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with employees at different levels of the organization.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability when reviewing records and resolving discrepancies.
Compensation
