Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in processing certified payroll in Union County, NJ. In this role you will be responsible for payroll processing, certified payroll, prevailing wages, and more. Responsibilities:

• Process certified payroll for employees with precision and compliance.

• Manage payroll for prevailing wage projects.

• Ensure adherence to union payroll regulations and guidelines when applicable.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely processing.

• Verify and prepare payroll documentation for audits or reporting purposes.

• Maintain accurate records and reports related to payroll activities.

• Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Working knowledge of union payroll practices and certified payroll reporting requirements.

• Familiarity with certified payroll processes and prevailing wage requirements.

• Experience using payroll software for payroll management.

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations in New Jersey.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and resolve payroll-related issues.
