Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accounts and support financial reporting activities
• Analyze financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
• Support audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
