Control Systems Analyst II
We are seeking a Control Systems Analyst II who can serve as a lead technical resource responsible for the design, support, maintenance, and optimization of industrial automation and control systems in Chino, CA. This role supports critical plant operations through PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and network administration while providing guidance and training to technical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and industrial control systems.
- Support automation networks, communications infrastructure, LAN/WAN environments, telemetry, radio, and microwave systems.
- Perform software and firmware upgrades, system enhancements, and process automation improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Participate in automation, instrumentation, and controls projects from design review through testing and startup.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, system diagrams, and operating procedures.
- Train end users and provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams.
- Lead and coordinate work assignments for technical staff and contractors.
- Evaluate new technologies, recommend system improvements, and support long-term automation strategies.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting industrial automation and process control systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and industrial networking.
- Experience with systems integration, troubleshooting, and controls programming.
- Ability to analyze operational requirements and deliver practical automation solutions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Industrial communications, telemetry, radio, and microwave networks.
- Systems administration, database integration, and industrial cybersecurity.
Compensation
