Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery within our Data and Business Intelligence environment. This role will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing delivery impediments, tracking sprint progress, and driving continuous improvement across Agile teams focused on data, reporting, analytics, and BI initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile Scrum practices, be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and have the ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality data and business intelligence solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master for data and business intelligence teams, ensuring Agile principles and Scrum practices are consistently applied.
• Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Track sprint health and team performance using Agile metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, impediment logs, and sprint progress reporting.
• Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, analysts, and technical team members to support backlog readiness and sprint execution.
• Identify, escalate, and help remove roadblocks impacting team delivery and sprint commitments.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile Scrum methodology, roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospective follow-up, team feedback, and process optimization.
• Support planning and coordination across initiatives involving data platforms, reporting, dashboards, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
• Help ensure transparency around delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and team capacity.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing Agile team environment.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles, frameworks, and ceremonies.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent Scrum certification required.
• Experience using Agile metrics and artifacts, including burndown charts, sprint tracking, and backlog management.
• Ability to support cross-functional teams working on data, analytics, reporting, or business intelligence initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify impediments, drive resolution, and support team productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting teams in the Data, Analytics, or Business Intelligence space.
• Familiarity with reporting, dashboarding, data warehousing, or enterprise analytics project delivery.
• Experience working with Product Owners, business analysts, developers, and data teams in a Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile tools used for sprint planning, backlog management, and burndown reporting.
