Call Center
Seeking experienced Healthcare Call Center Representatives to support a high-volume Patient Access team. This role is responsible for handling inbound patient calls related to insurance eligibility, appointment scheduling, patient registration, and demographic updates while meeting strict call center productivity and quality metrics.
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have prior healthcare call center experience, possess strong insurance knowledge, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with minimal training.
MUST HAVE Qualifications
- Previous high-volume inbound healthcare call center experience.
- Experience using Epic.
- Strong healthcare insurance knowledge.
- Experience verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Ability to multitask while documenting calls in real time.
- Comfortable working in a highly monitored call center environment.
- Ability to quickly learn workflows and hit the ground running.
- Typing speed of 60–65 WPM preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound patient calls throughout the day.
- Verify insurance eligibility using Real-Time Eligibility (RTE).
- Update and maintain accurate patient demographic information.
- Register and onboard new patients.
- Explain insurance eligibility and authorization requirements to patients.
- Navigate multiple systems while speaking with patients.
- Accurately document all interactions in Epic.
- Maintain exceptional customer service while balancing speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a high-volume healthcare call center, handling inbound patient calls while meeting productivity and quality metrics.
- Proficiency using Epic and experience verifying insurance eligibility, reviewing benefits, and supporting patient registration activities.
- Working knowledge of commercial and government health insurance plans, including eligibility, authorizations, and common plan structures.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment by navigating multiple systems, documenting accurately in real time, and providing exceptional customer service with minimal training.
