Human Resources Coordinator

A growing biotechnology manufacturer in Carlsbad is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support an expanding workforce during an exciting period of growth. This contract opportunity offers exposure to every stage of the employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding to HR compliance and employee engagement—while working alongside an experienced HR leadership team.

What You'll Do

Human Resources Administration

• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation
• Maintain HRIS records and employee personnel files
• Process employment status changes, promotions, and compensation updates
• Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment activities
• Support leave administration and employment verification requests

Recruiting Support

• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
• Manage job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
• Conduct reference checks and background screening coordination
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Human Resources or HR Coordinator experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, UKG, BambooHR, or Paylocity preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
