Human Resources Generalist
People are at the center of every successful organization, and we're looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist who enjoys creating positive employee experiences while keeping HR operations running efficiently. This opportunity is with a growing North County employer that's expanding its workforce and investing heavily in its people.
You'll have the opportunity to work across every stage of the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and employee relations to compliance and performance support. If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact, this could be an excellent fit.
What You'll Be Doing
Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Provide day-to-day guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
- Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality
- Prepare employment documentation including promotions, transfers, and compensation changes
- Support benefits administration and leave management
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communications
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding paperwork
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding schedules
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring process
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- Working knowledge of California employment laws
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, UKG, Paylocity, or BambooHR
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- PHR or SHRM certification is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
