Job Title: Contract Senior Accountant

Job Type: Contract / Leave of Absence Coverage

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Contract Senior Accountant to provide leave of absence coverage and support advanced accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of accounting experience and a strong background in month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate reporting
• Identify and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
• Support process improvements and internal control adherence
• Assist with special projects and cross-functional accounting support

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close required
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
