Call Center Specialist
We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented onsite Call Center Specialist to support a non-profit organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a Contract position suited for someone who enjoys assisting callers, resolving questions efficiently, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced service environment. The ideal candidate brings recent customer service experience, strong communication skills, and confidence using basic computer applications and office tools. Preference will be given to Oahu residence due to the nature of this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism, providing clear and courteous assistance to a wide range of inquiries.
• Record call details, customer information, and follow-up actions accurately to maintain organized and up-to-date documentation.
• Enter and update data in internal systems while ensuring information is complete, timely, and reliable.
• Support callers by explaining services, answering questions, and directing issues to the appropriate team when needed.
• Use standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications to complete daily administrative and communication tasks.
• Maintain a calm and solution-focused approach during high-volume periods while delivering consistent customer service.
• Uphold strong phone etiquette and clear diction to ensure every interaction is handled effectively and respectfully.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of recent customer service experience, ideally in a call center or high-volume phone support setting.• Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with data entry and routine use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and confidence.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including clear speech, active listening, and courteous phone manner.
• Experience creating accurate documentation and maintaining organized records.
• Familiarity with basic office procedures and the use of standard office equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay detail-oriented, and work effectively in a team-focused environment.
Compensation
