Essential Duties
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the maintenance function. Conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment, coordinates work, preforms preventive maintenance, handles basic repairs and maintenance and oversees contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor. Responds to inquiries or requests for information and prioritizes requests received. Must be available for “On Call” to address afterhours and weekend emergencies.
Performs a variety of duties to support the facilities department of which the following are illustrative:
Maintains a clean and safe environment – pick up trash and debris; pressure washing building and pavement; mowing grass; trimming shrubbery; maintaining landscape; clearing snow and ice; cleaning spills; straightening walk-off mats; washing windows; and performing similar custodial and exterior maintenance duties.Operates Bank owned vehicles requiring a valid New York Driver's License in order to travel to and from CNC properties, (currently in Ontario, Monroe, Cayuga, and Onondaga counties). Responsible for care, maintenance and service of bank vehicles.Efficiently address tasks within the work order system to include prioritizing, responding, escalating, and documenting.Diagnoses maintenance and repair issues, evaluates corrective options, and determines when external vendors or contractors must be contacted.Maintains equipment, i.e.: replaces light fixtures and light bulbs and ballasts; repairs all fixtures (toilets, door closers, emergency lighting); re-sets exterior street clocks. Coordinates work with all vendors and contractors and provide on-site guide and supervision as required.Understands and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and other work diagrams.Installs office components such as keyboard trays and under counter computer brackets; sit/stand workstations, and modular furniture systems.Delivering or picking up mail, supplies, food, documents, storage boxes, merchandise, and other materials.Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, overall safety and soundness, and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and other applicable regulationsSkills and Qualifications
Basic reading and writing skills.
Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and painting work.
Strong organizational, follow-up, and detail orientated skills
Ability to comprehend written materials and instructions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and internet search functions.
Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. and move objects weighing up to 150 lbs. using a hand truck or dollies, including items such as stoves, refrigerators, filing cabinets, and furniture.
Valid driver's license required

Compensation range- $21.50-$25.00/ hr.
The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
