This role reports into our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division located in Germantown, WI.

You will contact customers to collect outstanding balances along with analyzing and aging accounts receivable to develop action plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews customer credit status, terms and limits for existing customers using payment history patterns, information from customers and sales force and 3rd party credit reports.

  • Contact customer to collect outstanding balances and confirm scheduled payment dates

  • Prepare weekly adjustments for review and sign off by lead.

  • Review customer credit status, terms and limits, accounts to determine creditworthiness

  • Analyze aged receivables to determine a plan of action to resolve

  • Research and resolve customer inquiries or disputes involving billing

  • Escalate collection issues to management when necessary

  • Support the review and release orders on credit hold

  • Support the guidance to internal and field personnel on credit and collection policy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 + years of experience in Credit/Collections or related area

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to participate in projects cross-functionally, utilizing influence to obtain buy-in from stakeholders
