Description:

The Senior Program Manager for Operation GO NORTH provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of Monadnock Family Service’s (MFS) GO NORTH initiative. The Governor’s Office of New Opportunities & Rural Transformational Health (GO NORTH) program is intended to expand access to affordable and innovative health care in rural areas of New Hampshire. GO NORTH is funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s Rural Health Transformation Fund Grant. 


This Senior Manager-level position is responsible for guiding implementation of GO NORTH grant-funded projects, overseeing outcomes and compliance, and providing high-level project management to facilitate successful achievement of project goals within Federal timelines. The key projects that will fall under the Program Manager’s leadership align with the core scope of GO NORTH’s behavioral health initiatives. The initiatives are: CCBHC certification, workforce development, and advancing modernized information technology. The Program Manager also will serve as a key liaison among MFS leadership, community partners, and other healthcare providers. The goal of the external collaborations is to advance innovative approaches that improve access, quality, and outcomes for individuals receiving behavioral health services in the Monadnock Region. 


This position is intended to support MFS’s GO NORTH initiatives, CCBHC transformation, and implementation efforts and is temporary in nature, with continuation dependent upon organizational needs and funding availability.


Requirements:

Required

  • Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Eight years of program management, project coordination, or related experience.
  • Five years of experience working with the healthcare sector, preferably behavioral and/or community health. 
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Work experience or familiarity with Certified Community Behavioral Health system of care and regulatory requirements.
  • Work experience or familiarity with Information Systems Modernization.
  • Ability to analyze program outcomes and use data to support decision-making.
  • Ability to manage grant-related budgets and expenditures. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of self-directedness and initiation. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in community mental health, CCBHCs, integrated care, rural health, or healthcare transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with program implementation, quality improvement, and community partnership development.
