ServiceMaster Restore is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Reconstruction team in Eugene. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a strong construction background, and can build accurate estimates while providing excellent customer service, we'd like to hear from you.

We help homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage. As our Construction Estimator, you'll play a key role in helping customers move from loss to restoration by preparing accurate estimates and working closely with project managers, adjusters, and customers throughout the reconstruction process.

Construction experience and experience using Xactimate (or similar construction estimating software) are required for this position.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect residential and commercial properties and document losses with photos and detailed notes
  • Prepare accurate reconstruction estimates using Xactimate
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and develop project pricing
  • Ensure estimates meet insurance carrier guidelines and audit standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers throughout each project
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and carriers
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance partners
  • Keep estimate files organized and complete
  • Resolve estimate revisions and discrepancies promptly

We're Looking for Someone Who

  • Has construction estimating experience
  • Is proficient with Xactimate or similar estimating software
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Can manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and other construction software
  • Enjoys problem-solving and working independently

Requirements

  • Construction experience and experience using Xactimate (or similar construction estimating software) are required
  • Valid Oregon driver's license with a clean driving record for past 3 years
  • Ability to pass a background check to age 18 and pre-employment drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $5,000-$5,500 per month, depending on experience, + Monthly commission on completed jobs
