This role is responsible for designing competitive, equitable, and strategically aligned compensation structures that drive business results and support talent attraction, motivation, and retention. The Director will manage a compensation budget of $200MM, report to the Senior Director, EP Sales Enablement, and collaborate closely with senior sales leadership, HR, finance, and other key stakeholders.

SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

Medtech EP is recruiting a Business Product Manager to provide expertise in business analysis through team leadership and business partnership. The Business Product Manager will assume the role of Product Owner for business applications supporting Commercial Excellence such as CRM, Subscription Management, Offer Development, Sales, Analytics, and other commercial support systems for J&J MedTech EP. The Business Product Manager will oversee multiple moderate-sized projects and conduct work between IT standards/strategies and business needs to guide well-informed decisions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of critical project and program management considerations (i.e., privacy/risk/security, architectural, compliance, change management, etc.).
  • Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and the ability to assess the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, and costs.
  • Detailed understanding of business processes and data within and across areas.
  • Provides work project/process reviews and provides balanced and constructive feedback
  • Selects tools and methodologies for projects, following compliance and company guidelines.
  • Leads the assessment of the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions and provides appropriate recommendations.
  • Performs benchmark comparisons of complex business processes to external entities.
  • Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation as necessary.
  • Stays abreast of the policies, procedures and legislation that may impact various business areas.
  • Ascertains business readiness for change to business processes and identifies appropriate implementation measures.
  • Demonstrated experience working with internal and external customers in a coordinating role and gathering requirements and needs.
  • Analyzes the business value of potential process change. Makes priority recommendations. Identifies, defines and researches issues of potential strategic importance.
  • Create awareness of platform and drive incremental usage by engaging with key decision makers.
  • Educate platform customers on all aspects of platform products to enhance usage.
  • Develop and maintain user stories and tasks with clear product acceptance criteria in a prioritized product backlog.
  • Work with developers to breakdown user needs into use cases and collaborate to refine requirements.
  • Bi-weekly sprint planning. Work with Project Management team to define project roadmaps based on customer demands paired with development team feasibility and sizing.
  • Use consultative techniques to identify potential areas of platform growth and additional utilization of products.
  • High level of expertise and knowledge in the business processes of business partners and how software technology is used to support business processes.
  • Understanding of business partner's strategy, products, and services to support the definition of business requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and conduct workshops to align and prioritize system functionalities.
  • Work with developers and quality teams to ensure requirements, design, documents and customer communications are updated.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams and develop action plans with team members having disparate viewpoints.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize voice of the customer into the product backlog.
  • Responsible and accountable for effective platform customer communications.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 4-6 years of relevant professional work experience in Quality, Service & Repair Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Process, Systems Analysis, Supply Chain, Order Management, Inventory Management.
  • Experience with hands-on process ownership preferred.
  • Medical device industry strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform.
  • Preferred experience with Agile software development, scrum framework, SDLC methodology.
  • Preferred experience writing user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Preferred experience creating work-flow diagrams leveraging Microsoft Visio (or equivalent).
  • Preferred experience designing and creating user interface wireframes and mockups.
  • Experience working as a liaison between technological and commercial sales/operations.
  • Experience using software applications equivalent to Visio, Project, Slack, Atlassian Jira, SAFe Agile.
  • Experience with business process mapping.
  • Ability to adjust to fast paced environment and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communications, and organizational skills.
  • Extensive telephone interface with internal stakeholders.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
