Essential Functions
- Create digital and visual content for distribution across multiple channels, including websites, marketing collateral, email, presentations, paid and organic social media, and other digital platforms.
- Design, format, and update digital assets while ensuring consistency with university brand standards, visual identity guidelines, and accessibility best practices.
- Coordinate, manage, and update digital content across web and marketing channels to ensure materials remain accurate, current, visually consistent, and user-friendly.
- Review, copyedit, and approve digital content, ensuring alignment with brand voice, design standards, accessibility expectations, and departmental goals.
- Apply the university's web style guide and visual identity standards across digital platforms, while supporting consistent use of templates, design systems, CMS tools, and digital content processes.
- Serve as a resource for digital design standards, brand application, visual content best practices, accessibility, information architecture, and user experience considerations.
- Assist with strategies for keeping digital and visual content fresh, dynamic, engaging, and aligned with evolving marketing and communication needs.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, content, web, and technical support teams to ensure digital assets and platforms meet accessibility, functionality, usability, and performance expectations, including compliance with applicable accessibility standards such as WCAG, Section 504, and Section 508.

Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- One (1) year of experience related to content creation, web content management, social media management, or marketing communications.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Adobe Express.
- Experience creating digital graphics, branded templates, marketing collateral, social media assets, web visuals, email graphics, or presentation materials.
- Ability to apply brand standards, visual identity systems, typography, layout, and design best practices across digital and print-adjacent materials.
