TITLE: Production Controller, Structural
REPORTS TO: Production Control Manager, Structural
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
PAY RANGE: $23.00-$35.00 per hour DOE
FT / PT STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION:
SUMMARY
Responsible for the coordination of materials and services for various projects/ programs associated with IMIA Structiural Division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide quote estimates for materials and services
- Track and report delivery dates and material issues to projects
- Develop and update Job Material Lists
- Attend weekly project meetings
- Supply technical support to purchasing activities
- Interface with Project managers and superintendent on various projects
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Kit material for projects to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Stock & Issue materials from Shop Stores-Consumables
- Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming materials, ensuring that all deliveries match purchase orders and quality specifications.
- Ensure proper reciept inspection and storage of GFM.
- Provide forklift support for deliveries and or shop needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- None
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with NAVSEA drawings and Tech Manuals
- Understanding and experience with manufacturing fundamentals
- Knowledge of Mil-Spec and COTS items
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of their abilities and have a dependable work ethic
- Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form including but not limited to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate, or GED
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work primarily preformed in an office or shop environment
- Occasional travel required
