Job Description Summary
The University of South Alabama’s Risk Management department is seeking to hire a Coordinator, Risk Management Compliance. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions
  • Maintains files of all current and previous clinical healthcare workers.
  • Verifies coverage and claims history for all current/previous healthcare workers.
  • Obtains motor vehicle reports (MVRs) and maintains the database for all approved drivers of University vehicles.
  • Maintains database of all University-owned vehicles and prepares liability insurance cards for each vehicle.
  • Assists with the administration of the motor vehicle policy.
  • Drafts and maintains documents and/or correspondance in connection with general liability claims; assists with case management.
  • Prepares requisitions using Banner and direct pay requests for various invoices and records using SAP-Concur.
  • Prepares and assembles documents for meetings.
  • Answers telephone, directs calls and takes messages for all staff.
  • Opens and distributes mail.
  • Maintains office calendar.
  • Manages the department’s purchasing card and reconciles the monthly PCard statement.
  • Transcribes and prepares correspondence, reports and other documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Assists with scheduling meetings, conference calls and Zooms.
  • Maintains department files.
  • Maintains and orders office supplies.
  • Maintains discretion of confidential information.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
  • Related duties as required.
