Production Manager

Your Role at Delta Faucet
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily production operations to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, on time, and to quality standards. This role leads production teams, manages resources, drives continuous improvement, and partners cross‑functionally to meet business goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct daily production activities to meet output, quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production employees
- Monitor production schedules and adjust labor, equipment, and materials as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and labor utilization
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Partner with supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production issues
- Manage staffing levels, training plans, and performance reviews
- Support new product launches, process changes, and capacity planning
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and work standards

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience
- Proven experience leading teams in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and labor management
- Solid understanding of safety and quality systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Experience using ERP / MES systems
- OSHA safety training or certification
- Experience managing multiple shifts or departments
- Problem-solving skills and tools such as PDCA, DMAIC and Kaizen
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and standing/walking for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25–40 lbs
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed to support production
