The AMC CIDO team is looking to hire a full time Project Manager to support the Advanced Systems portfolio of programs. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD, and the selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Linthicum, MD campus - this is not a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities for this role will include but not be limited to the following:
Programmatic operation and integration directly supporting the CIDO Program Management Office in day-to-day execution.
Manage projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Assess project issues, and support development of resolutions to meet productivity with cross-functional technical teams.
Develop, implement, and maintain tools/templates for monitoring project progress.
Prepare status reports and presentations for NGC internal meetings.
Collaborate across multiple different functions to ensure all objectives are met.
Establish, maintain, and proactively manage strategic rhythm of the organization to ensure preparedness for program and customer deadlines.
Prepare status reports and maintain detailed project logs.
Coordinate and manage a wide variety of program level meetings while tracking actions and simultaneously engaging stakeholders to prepare for follow-on discussions and meetings.
Implement and execute Quarterly Program Management reviews.
Facilitate Risk, Issue, and Opportunity management.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance; the selected candidate will be required to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance as a condition of continued employment.
1+ year of experience leading and managing teams.
3+ years of experience working as a project manager, portfolio manager, or Product Owner.
Proven ability to prioritize and complete competing priorities and projects within critical deadlines.
Strong communication skills with an ability to tailor the message to different audiences.
Experience using tools (Jira and Confluence) and techniques for project planning and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
Prior experience leading Engineering Product Development.
Proficiency in producing, organizing, and sharing knowledge articles, and tracking work items using tools such as Atlassian, Confluence, and Jira.
Experience with EVMS, MS-Project, Risk Management, NG EPM Curriculum, or equivalents.

Primary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
