POSITION DESCRIPTION – DIRECTOR PMO

Position Summary
The Director PMO will provide leadership and strategic vision to AIRTEC. The Director PMO brings operational, managerial, and administrative procedures, reporting structures, and operation controls. The Director PMO will effectively communicate and foster growth among the executive team and all employees. This is a vital executive leadership role that will drive results, spur growth, and increase the overall efficiency of AIRTEC. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function for the company.
Essential Functions
- Direct program management processes including governance, team leadership, monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality controls ensuring alignment with AIRTEC’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
- Assist executive team members in creating, growing, and building a world class, industry leading company.
- Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, CEO, and other key executive team members.
- Partner with the CFO to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.
- Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance, and profitability.
- Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of PMO processes.
- Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of AIRTEC.
- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Work with other c-level executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
- Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within AIRTEC.
- Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in AIRTEC including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members.
- Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors, and all other professional business relationships.
- Work with the CEO and CFO in the capital raise process, participate in the company’s road shows. Meet, interact, and present information effectively to potential customers.
- Foster a growth oriented, positive, and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibility
- The Director PMO may supervise any lower grade employees or contractors performing specialized inspections, repairs, or logistical support on or off site. This position has direct supervisory responsibilities as well as a coaching and mentoring role for all AIRTEC subordinate positions in the division.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Military, Business Development/Marketing or related roles with a strong DoD background.
- Candidates must have demonstrated professional management and customer stakeholder communication skills and experience.
- Self-Starter with excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
- Team player who is results oriented; winner mentality.
- Demonstrated experience in effective and successful negotiations.
- Former Military desirable.
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug test.
- 25% to 40% Domestic and International travel required.
- Attendance in Industry Events and Conferences as needed.
