Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Summary
Operates heavy equipment by performing the following responsibilities.

The Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment such as cranes, clamshells, power shovels, motor graders, heavy loaders, carryalls, bulldozers, rollers, scrapers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scrapper attachments. Equipment is used to excavate, load, or move dirt, gravel, or other materials. Operator may read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans, and may grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment. Performs all duties in conformance with company safety policies and procedures.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to pass a company drug screen and background check.
Must possess a valid state driver's license, CDL, and insurable driving record.
