Salary Range or Pay Grade: Salary Range; PDRA: $65,000 - $70,000/year and ARS: $73,700 - $79,000/year
Description
Research Positions - The Physics Department at Princeton University is seeking applicants for postdoctoral and more senior research positions. Applicants with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Cosmology and Astrophysics, Particle Astrophysics, and Dark Matter, High Energy Physics, Atomic, Pulsar and Biophysics; Theoretical Cosmology, Condensed Matter, Mathematical, and Particle Physics.
These positions are subject to the University's background check policy. The work location for these positions will be in-person on campus at Princeton University, or subject to approval, at an off-campus location where the research project is being undertaken.
The term of the appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibilty of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding and meeting all requirements; those hired at a more senior rank may have multi-year appointments.
These positions are not eligible for sponsorship of an H-1B Visa requiring consular processing; other Visa sponsorships (including H-1B not requiring consular processing) may be available, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Candidates for the postion should have a Doctorate degree in Physics or a related discipline.
