We are seeking a Senior Wireless / Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer at Indian Head, MD. The Senior Wireless / RF Engineer will lead the development of innovative wireless and RF technologies that power reliable, secure, and mission-critical communications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, integration, and optimization of wireless and RF communication systems, ensuring solutions meet technical, operational, and performance requirements.
- Develop and evaluate RF hardware and system architectures, performing modeling, simulation, testing, and troubleshooting to validate system performance and reliability.
- Direct system verification and validation efforts by developing test strategies, analyzing results, and resolving complex technical issues using specialized RF test equipment.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, engineering guidance, and mentorship while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Ensure RF system designs, installations, and engineering practices comply with applicable government regulations, industry standards, and organizational quality requirements.

- Active Top Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III baseline certification requirements by possessing at least one approved certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP or Associate, CCNP Security, CISA, CCSP, GCED, or GCIH).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Demonstrated ability leading technical efforts, mentoring junior to mid-level engineering teams, and communicating effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $185,000 to $250,000 (annually).
