We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer at Indian Head, MD. The Senior Network Engineer will have experience in network engineering and capability to build and maintain robust enterprise connectivity across complex environments.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and support high-performance network infrastructures and their associated components, enabling seamless communication across the organization.
- Configure and fine-tune advanced networking hardware to maintain reliable, secure data flow.
- Enforce security-focused access controls and ensure networks align with applicable compliance frameworks.
- Skilled in implementation of Zero Trust Frameworks.
- Act as the senior troubleshooting authority for critical incidents requiring deep technical expertise.
- Track network health, investigate anomalies, and implement proactive improvements to prevent service disruptions.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III baseline certification requirements by possessing at least one approved certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP or Associate, CCNP Security, CISA, CCSP, GCED, or GCIH).

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $125,000 to $195,000 (annually).
