A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Harrison Laboratory with a research focus on the development and validation of GUIDE-IP, a guided investigative AI framework for healthcare-associated outbreak investigations. Responsibilities include developing and validating GUIDE-IP, conducting analyses using genomic, epidemiologic, and electronic healthcare data, collaborating with multidisciplinary investigators, and contributing to manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications. The Postdoctoral Associate will work under the supervision of Dr. Lee Harrison and collaborating investigators, with day-to-day collaboration and technical guidance from the project's AI consultant in the development and evaluation of GUIDE-IP.

Degree requirements: Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Infectious Diseases, or related fields.
