We are looking for a Lead Project Manager in Laurel, MD.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site. Designated site lead for the project team.
- Provide direction to the team, coordinates schedules and workload
- Perform all project management tasks
- Day-to-day project management for construction and service projects
- Coordination with customers, schedule review and design review
- Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field
- Review contractor submittals for contract performance
- Provide aid throughout the acquisition phases of projects including: answering offeror questions, attending/participating in site orientation visits, attending/participating in joint contractor/gov't meetings
- Draft technical responses to any change orders
- Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years project management work experience on commercial or government constructions projects.
- PMP or other project management certificate
- Must have active Secret Clearance - Required
