Summary
The Warehouse Lead will assist the warehouse supervisor/manager with daily warehouse operations as a hands-on leader of the warehouse associates.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities
Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the warehouse to ensure work targets are met.
Receive and store materials and supplies
Entry of received items into SAP
Pull stock to fulfill customer orders, utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Responsible for the branch On-Time Delivery performance and reporting.
Prepare paperwork including shipping labels, quality documents, and instructions
Perform quality checks to ensure quality compliance
Lead daily cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
Assist with EIS safety and compliance policy procedure documentation
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse
All other duties assigned and required

Education and/or Experience
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED; Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum 3 to 5 years general warehouse experience
Minimum 1 3 years of demonstrated staff leadership and motivation experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Working knowledge of warehouse operations
Ability to effectively use the computer system to record materials received and shipped
Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations
Effective communication
Language Skills:
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. Comfort in facilitating meetings and communicating with leadership.
