Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Purpose:

Early intervention (EI) is one of the fastest growing platforms in the DePuy Synthes North America portfolio and is comprised of buy-and-bill biologics as well novel non-surgical solutions in the space of sports medicine and osteoarthritis. Our market-leading, dedicated Early Intervention team is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit within a competitive and results oriented culture.

This role is responsible for driving Advanced Analytics and Market Access Insights & Analytics for the Early Intervention organization. This leader will be responsible for creating sustainable advanced analytics solutions to solve complex unmet needs for our customers, guide decision-making, uncover and drive revenue and share growth, and advance our commercial model.

The ideal candidate is proficient in understanding real-world application of data sciences with experience working across diverse teams to help bridge technology, commercial and data teams.

You will be responsible for:
  • Develop, influence and shape sustainable advanced analytical solutions that align with business insight needs, are forward looking, and use tools and methods to track, report and analyze results
  • Generate innovative approaches to market access pull through including translating contract wins, underperforming opportunities, and market event targeted initiatives; monitor and measure success of these approaches.
  • Support pricing teams with RFP Bid process. This may include analog assessments, volume and geographic considerations, utilization management trends, customer and competitor intelligence gathering
  • Support Market Access Readiness Review (MARR) process by developing new insights, connecting existing data and resources to shape critical access business decisions.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships and projects with Market Access teams, sales leadership, brand teams and other commercial stakeholders across the organization
  • Act as an internal consultant, proactively developing solutions to uncover business opportunities and actionable insights
  • Collaborate and influence both internally and externally to coordinate cross-functional analytics projects and ensure advanced analytics is part of front-line thinking
  • Assist in budget management, project prioritization and project management
  • Manage story development and presentation of analytical solutions to ensure stakeholder buy-in
  • Build, evolve and manage promotion response models to provide insights and recommendations to optimize promotional efforts


Qualifications / Requirements:

Education
  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required; an advanced degree in a field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Econometrics, Finance is beneficial

Experience And Skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience in sales, market access, marketing, finance, analytics, management consulting or related field is required
  • Knowledge of market access dynamics (e.g. payers, IDNs, specialty pharmacy, patient access, trade distribution) is preferred
  • Knowledge of buy and bill and contracting models is preferred
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytics techniques and interpret outcomes of analytical models into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations is required
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (model selection and hypothesis testing, statistical inference, etc.) and experience with real-world applications is preferred
  • Working knowledge of specialty pharmacy data sources (to include IQVIA, acuity MD, MMIT) is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (written and presentation) is required
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required
  • Ability to organize, integrate, and analyze large data sources and draw cohesive conclusions is required
  • Ability to influence all levels of the organization and to engage across a broad

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$94,000.00 - $151,800.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
ubject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
