| Physical Requirements | This position requires regularly lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; intermittently standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing over 50 pounds; sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working at heights above four feet; and/or working in confined spaces. Also involves some risk of injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to loud noises, radiation, cuts/punctures, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people. Some job-related travel (less than 10% of time) may be required. |

| Job Summary | The Nurse Clinician Senior – UKHC will serve as a wound/ostomy nurse for UK Health Care. In this position, the ideal candidate will be prepared to assess and document a patient’s skin integrity to develop a prevention/treatment plan. Once developed, this person will also be able to adequately communicate the plan and treatment to patients and staff members. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a friendly caring attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally to others. This position requires Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification within 24 months of hire. |
