Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a finance team in Dallas, Texas. This position is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in accounting principles and hands-on experience supporting the month-end close process. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to core financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support tax-related activities in an in-office environment.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record journal entries to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including account analysis and reconciliation of general ledger balances.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records by reviewing transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Support corporate tax and sales tax processes through data preparation, tracking, and documentation.
• Help compile information needed for corporate tax return preparation and related filings.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and respond to routine accounting inquiries.
• Contribute to accounting process improvements and support operational changes that affect financial reporting.
