Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support key financial operations for a Contract position based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. This role will lead core accounting activities, help maintain accurate reporting, and ensure close-cycle deliverables are completed on time. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, audit support, and period-end accounting processes.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly close activities to ensure financial records are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Manage general ledger operations, including review of balances, accounting activity, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial reporting across accounting periods.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate variances to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support financial statement audit activities by organizing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and validating underlying data.
• Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements that strengthen accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure reporting requirements are met.
