Inside Sales

We are looking for an Inside Sales team member for a long-term Contract position based in Tacoma, Washington. This role will lead a small customer-facing team in an industrial supply environment, balancing day-to-day service, sales support, and staff development. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, sound judgment, and confidence using computer systems while helping maintain smooth operations across the shop and sales floor.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the customer service and inside sales team, providing daily guidance, coaching, and accountability.

• Welcome walk-in customers, understand their needs, and help match them with appropriate products and solutions.

• Oversee order processing, payment handling, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Step in on specialized, large, or more detailed customer requests to help move orders through successfully.

• Train team members on workflows, service expectations, and system usage, including onboarding support for new hires.

• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, accounting, and sales staff to keep order activity organized and on schedule.

• Monitor the showroom and sales area to maintain a clean, stocked, and well-organized customer environment.

• Review pricing, product displays, and selected inventory counts to help maintain accuracy and consistency.

• Assist with pulling, packing, and final order checks during high-volume periods to support on-time fulfillment.
