Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant with 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience to support core accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and experience working in complex, fast-paced environments across industries such as manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, utilities, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Lead or support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger activity and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions.
• Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and regulatory filings as needed.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and documented procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts in partnership with finance leadership.
