Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is a contract position within the retail industry, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in accounts receivable and collections. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage financial tasks efficiently. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial activities.

• Handle collections for commercial accounts, including communicating with clients to resolve payment issues.

• Apply cash payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Generate and review aging reports to track overdue accounts and prioritize collection efforts.

• Prepare and print invoices for distribution, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

• Verify receipt of checks and update records accordingly.

• Manage filing systems for invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

• Stuff envelopes and organize mailings for billing purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency.
