Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join a law firm in Atlanta, Georgia on a Contract basis. This position will focus primarily on complex business litigation, providing hands-on support for an active and expanding caseload while working closely with the managing partner. The attorney will play a key role in day-to-day litigation execution, including drafting, research, case preparation, and coordination related to a significant incoming matter.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day litigation support for complex business disputes, ensuring matters move forward efficiently and deadlines are met.

• Draft, review, and refine a range of legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and related case materials.

• Conduct legal research and translate findings into practical recommendations and written work product.

• Prepare deposition summaries, organize case information, and maintain thorough documentation to support litigation strategy.

• Handle court filings and monitor procedural requirements to keep cases compliant and on schedule.

• Partner closely with the managing partner to support workflow, priorities, and evolving case needs.

• Participate in transition discussions regarding an incoming litigation matter and help ensure continuity of case handling.

• Attend strategy sessions or other important meetings as needed, particularly when in-person collaboration is beneficial.
