Sales Support

We are looking for a customer-focused Sales Support specialist to join a tree nursery operation in Wonder Lake, Illinois. This Long-term Contract position will serve as a key point of contact for customers while helping drive quote preparation, order processing, and day-to-day sales coordination. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, communicates well across teams, and brings energy to both service and sales activities.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist customers in person, providing a helpful and attentive experience during each interaction.
• Prepare pricing information, generate quotes, and enter customer orders accurately to support timely fulfillment.
• Partner with sales and account management teams to help maintain customer relationships and support ongoing business needs.
• Respond to questions about products, availability, and order status through clear and courteous communication.
• Coordinate with internal departments to keep information aligned and ensure smooth handling of customer requests.
• Contribute to daily office operations by managing administrative and sales support tasks as needed.
• Support both inbound and outbound sales efforts by identifying customer needs and helping move opportunities forward.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role involving service, sales support, or order coordination.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for effective communication with customers.
• Strong comfort level with computers and the ability to learn office and order entry systems quickly.
• Interest in sales and a proactive approach to assisting customers and supporting business growth.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness in a busy environment.
• Background in plant, landscaping, agriculture, or tree nursery products is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with several departments.

Compensation

$19.00-$24.00 Hourly
