Document Control Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a highly organized Document Control Specialist to manage, track, and maintain company documents in a secure and efficient manner. This role is responsible for ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and properly stored, while supporting compliance, quality standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize electronic and hard-copy documents, records, and files
• Control document intake, review, distribution, storage, and retrieval processes
• Ensure version control and document accuracy across systems and departments
• Create, update, and maintain document logs, tracking systems, and filing protocols
• Support audits by preparing and providing requested documentation
• Monitor document retention and archiving procedures in accordance with company policies
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance document control efficiency
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
