Geologist/Hydrogeologist (Suffern, NY)
Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Suffern, NY office.
What you’ll do:- Hydrogeologic /geologic investigationsPumping test supervisionWater-quality samplingStreamflow gagingGIS map/graphics generation Soil sampling and logging during well installation Permit and report writing
- BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology A positive attitude and ability to work in a team settingEnthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settingsPractical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSome travel will be required to conduct field work Valid driver’s license is required.
