POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified full-time Senior Accountant / Controller to join our innovative administrative team in our office in Bend, OR. The Senior Accountant / Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Coordinating Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Cash Management, Equipment and Job Cost functions and standard protocols.
- Reviewing accounting procedures to provide maximum efficiency and accuracy of transactions.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and presenting to the management team.
- Preparing and reviewing workpapers and entries for month end close and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Performing financial analysis to identify and recommend operating efficiencies to management.
- Ensuring customers are provided with timely and accurate invoicing and assistance.
- Working with the ERP system (construction software package Viewpoint) to provide information for the business to operate efficiently.
- Working closely with the management on contract and subcontract administration.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Cross-train in other areas of business as needed.
- Work on special projects and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.

Position Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
- Experience in preparation of financial statements.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
