Overview
SBG seeks a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to serve as a technical lead, transforming complex, large-scale datasets into actionable business insights. The candidate must possess deep functional expertise on VHA systems, processes, and procedures. This role will lead data quality and analytics efforts in support of VA’s EHRM Rapid Decision-Making program, using an array of data analytics tools and will also lean on NLP / ML capabilities. Expertise for this role will enable data-driven decisions for VA EHRM deployments, ServiceNow migration, and patient-safety reporting.
The Data Analyst, Senior will:
Obtain data through advanced computerized models; extrapolating data patterns through advanced algorithms; developing graphs and charts to display what is improving and what is getting worse, and leveraging Natural Language Processing / Machine Learning capabilities to advance modeling, coding and development for the Data Analytics and Insights workstream.

Monitor and validate RMA, ServiceNow, and Power Apps data pipelines; proactively surface anomalies, perform rootcause analysis (SQL/R/Python), and drive remediation with CPMO/OCI owners.
Define and operationalize enterprise dataquality rules, thresholds, and KPI scorecards; codify repeatable QC playbooks and automate checks in Power Automate/SQL/Python; publish results in Purview and related governance tools.
Lead Tier 0 Tier 1 data stewardship and maintain endtoend lineage/metadata in Purview/Collibra, ensuring accessibility, traceability, and VA/VHA compliance.
Certify Tableau/Power BI dashboards and reports against integrity and accessibility standards; coordinate remediation with analytics teams.
Embed dataquality gates and validation points in SAFe PI planning, sprint planning, and demos to ensure productionready data.
Other Duties:
Design and deliver visualizations, analysis, and models.
Serves as the primary authority for data analysis and reporting across Agile integration, interoperability, and clinical informatics initiatives.
Responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines, performing advanced analytics, and ensuring data integrity for clinical and operational decision-making.
Supports integration of multiple health IT systems, validates data migration fidelity, and provides actionable insights to program leadership.
