How you will make an impact:

As a Senior Banknote Designer, you will drive the creation and execution of innovative banknote designs, managing projects from concept through to final proof. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing Crane Currency’s global brand presence while supporting commercial growth and profitability. By leveraging your expertise, you will ensure designs align with strategic objectives while improving productivity and cost efficiency. You will also play a key role in shaping internal initiatives and advancing the organization’s creative capabilities.

• Work closely with corporate marketing and sales teams to align banknote designs with overall business strategy and objectives.
• Analyze internal and external developments in banknote design to stay ahead of industry trends and innovations.
• Apply expertise in security and graphic design to deliver commercially valuable banknote solutions.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including authorities, suppliers, and partners.
• Develop and manage the design budget in line with long-term and annual business plans.
• Oversee the full design process from concept to final proof, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Ensure designs balance aesthetic, security, production, and quality requirements.
• Incorporate the latest design technologies and techniques to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• 5-year university level education within arts & crafts and graphic design or commensurate experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in graphic software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with security software such as The One and Corvina.

The salary range for this role is €70,000 – €76,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
