Developmental Adjunct - Fall 2026

The Department of Psychology at Clark University is seeking part-time, in-person instructor(s) for two undergraduate Developmental Psychology courses during the Fall 2026 semester, beginning August 24, 2026.

  1. Developmental Psychology: A foundation-level survey course focused on child development. Meets Tuesday/Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:15am. TA support provided for the course.
  2. Developmental First Seminar: A mid-level seminar, discussion-based around primary readings on a topic of the instructor's choosing, culminating in a paper that involves synthesis and argument of the psychological literature. Meets Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:50am.

Part-time faculty expectations include the following; excellent attendance record, regularly scheduled office hours, adherence to departmental program requirements.



Job Requirements:

The effective candidate will have a Ph.D. in Psychology with experience teaching in the field of Developmental Psychology.



Additional Information:

Expected Hiring Range: $5,500 to $7,000 per course.

The compensation for this position will be determined based on factors that include available budget, internal equity, and the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related credentials. This range represents Clark University's good-faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting consistent with Clark's compensation philosophy and internal alignment.
