This role supports daily trading operations across structured products desks (RMBS, ABS, CMBS, CLO, Reverse Repo, Loan TRS), ensuring accurate P&L reporting, trade lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include trade support, P&L attribution, risk reporting, and reconciliation of discrepancies, as well as serving as a key liaison between traders and internal teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct real time P&L for all ABF trading desks

  • Monitor various real time risk indicators such as trade & position blotters, 5Y & 10Y duration, trading & position PNL, to ensure trading desk risk is accurate

  • Make sure securities are properly built by assembling product build sheets for internal CUSIP setup, deals are properly booked, and coordinates with settlements to ensure each deal settles on day of settlement

  • Audit requests from regulators by pulling relevant data or reaching out to technology teams to assist in the gathering of data that is then passed along to upper management for review

  • Lead and implement complex initiatives of profit and loss generation and attribution

  • Participate in cross functional planning Capital Markets Middle Office

  • Review and analyze complex products that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Review, research, and resolve trade issues

  • Facilitate resolutions for complex trade related issues

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and senior managers to resolve trade issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Middle Office, Risk, or related function, preferably supporting Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) trading platforms

  • Demonstrated expertise in P&L attribution, including analysis, reconciliation, and reporting

  • Deep understanding of RMBS pass-through bond pricing and risk drivers

  • Proven operational experience managing complex transactions within a Middle Office or similar environment

  • Strong knowledge of new issue bonds, resecuritization, deal structuring, OTC products, and FINRA TRACE reporting

  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple workflows, and think critically in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel (including data analysis and modeling); experience with Access and VBA is a plus

  • Experience with industry-standard trading and risk platforms such as Bloomberg, Calypso, and Broadridge strongly preferred

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule
